IND vs SL ODI Series: Rohit-Kohli will take part in practice session
The Indian team, which has taken a 2-0 lead in the T20 series against Sri Lanka, is now busy preparing for the three-match ODI series starting on August 2. Regular captain Rohit Sharma and star batsman Virat Kohli will take part in this series. Both these veteran players will also join the practice sessions before this series and will strengthen their preparations.

Rohit-Kohli reached Sri Lanka: The players included in the ODI team, including Rohit, Kohli and Harshit Rana, who was included in the team for the first time, reached Sri Lanka on Sunday. The Indian T20 team led by Suryakumar Yadav will play its last match in Pallekele on Tuesday. After this, the players included in the ODI team will join the team led by Rohit. Rohit, Kohli and Kuldeep Yadav will take the field for the first time after India's victory in the T20 World Cup.
Shreyas Iyer will return
Shreyas Iyer will also return to the national team from the ODI series against Sri Lanka. He played his last limited overs match for India against South Africa in December last year. All these players included in the ODI team will practice in Colombo under the supervision of assistant coach Abhishek Nair. All three ODI matches against Sri Lanka will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo. The first match will be played on August 2, the second on August 4 and the third on August 7.
Rohit's first tour with Gambhir
Gautam Gambhir, who took over as the head coach after Rahul Dravid's tenure ended, may have started his tenure with the T20 series against Sri Lanka, but his work with Rohit Sharma will begin with the ODI series. Rohit and Gambhir have played together before and now it will be interesting to see how the coordination between these two is.
