IND vs BAN 1st Test: India beat Bangladesh in the first test
The first match of the Test series was played between India and Bangladesh at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. In this match, Bangladesh got a target of 515 runs to win. Ashwin took 6 wickets in the second innings for India and in the end Jaddu took one wicket to give India victory. India won the first Test by 280 runs.

Bangladesh was all out for 234 before lunch. The hero of India's victory was R Ashwin, who took 6 wickets in the second innings and also scored a century with the bat in this match.
India scored 376 runs in the first innings thanks to Ashwin's century (113) and Ravindra Jadeja's (86). In reply, Bangladesh was all out for just 149 runs in the first innings.
In the first innings, Jasprit Bumrah took the maximum of four wickets for India. In the second innings, India declared the innings at 287/4. Then Bangladesh got a target of 515 runs, which the Bangladesh team failed to chase. On the fourth day, it was all out for 234 runs.
