KL Rahul gave a very surprising answer regarding his batting position in the second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy played in Adelaide. Rahul had opened in the Perth Test.
The second Test of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy between India and Australia will be played in Adelaide from 06 December. Before this Test, questions are constantly being raised on the opening pair of Team India. Yashasvi Jaiswal and KL Rahul were seen opening in the first Test of the series played in Perth, in which Rohit Sharma was not a part of the playing XI.
Rohit Sharma has returned and he will be seen leading Team India in the second Test to be played in Adelaide. As you know, Rohit Sharma is the captain as well as the opening batsman. In such a situation, it seems that now Rohit Sharma will be seen opening with Yashasvi Jaiswal instead of KL Rahul. But one thing to keep in mind is that Jaiswal and Rahul did amazing batting in the opening in the Perth Test.
Keeping all these things in mind, KL Rahul was asked a question about his batting position in the press conference. Rahul was asked whether he has been told at what position he will bat in the Adelaide Test? He gave a very interesting answer to this question. Responding to the batting position, Rahul said, 'I have been told, but I have also been told not to share it with you today. You will either have to wait for the first day or maybe when the captain (Rohit Sharma) comes here tomorrow.'
Let us tell you that the Pink Ball Day-Night Test will be played in Adelaide. To prepare for this match, Team India played a two-day Pink Ball warm-up match against Australia's Prime Minister XI in Canberra, in which KL Rahul was seen opening with Yashasvi Jaiswal. At the same time, Rohit Sharma came to bat at number four.
