Robinson, who has been wreaking havoc with his fiery deliveries during the ongoing Test series against Pakistan, reached the milestone of 100 Test wickets during the third Test match being played in Birmingham.

In this match, England won the toss and elected to bowl first; Robinson vindicated the captain's decision by dismissing Pakistan's opening batter, Saim Ayub, LBW in just the third over.
With this wicket, Robinson reached the milestone of 100 Test wickets in only his 24th match. His achievement is not limited merely to claiming 100 wickets; the average at which he accomplished this feat has rewritten the history books of cricket.
Robinson achieved this milestone with an average of just 19.34. This is the best bowling average for reaching 100 Test wickets in the history of Test cricket over the last 100 years.
By reaching this landmark, he has surpassed the record held by Indian fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, who had completed 100 Test wickets with an average of 19.79.
A Nightmare for Batters Against Pakistan
Pakistani batters appear to have absolutely no answer to Ollie Robinson's swing and seam bowling in the ongoing Test series against Pakistan. Delivering incredible performances in the first two Tests at Headingley and Lord's, he claimed 16 wickets at an average of just 7.18. Now, he has continued his fine form by dismissing Saim Ayub in the very third over of the Birmingham Test.
