In the match played at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur, West Indies Masters, captained by Brian Lara, won the toss and batted first and scored 148 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 20 overs. India achieved this target by losing 4 wickets. Rayudu played a half-century innings.
In the final match, Ambati Rayudu of India Masters batted brilliantly and played a brilliant innings of 74 runs in 50 balls. Ambati Rayudu was given the title of Player of the Match for this innings. Apart from Rayudu, captain Sachin Tendulkar scored 25 runs in 18 balls in the match. Yuvraj Singh remained unbeaten after scoring 13 runs. Stuart Binny hit the winning four.
India Masters got Rs 1 crore as prize money for winning the trophy. At the same time, the runner-up team of the league, West Indies Masters, got Rs 50 lakh. Not only this, prizes were also given to the players who performed well in the league.
