Duleep Trophy 2024 squads announced: The team for the Duleep Trophy has been announced. The team of all four teams participating in the tournament has been released in which many young stars have been given a place. The command of the team has been given to Shubman Gill, Ruturaj Gaikwad, Abhimanyu Easwaran and Shreyas Iyer.

All 4 teams have been announced for the first round of Duleep Trophy 2024-25. Indian stars participating in the Duleep Trophy include Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Shivam Dubey, Kuldeep Yadav, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rishabh Pant, Mohammad Siraj, Suryakumar Yadav, Shreyas Iyer, Axar Patel. However, the names of Jasprit Bumrah, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma are not included in the squad of any team. These senior players can also be a part of this domestic tournament, but now BCCI has made it clear with the announcement of the squad that all three players will be on a break till the start of the Test series against Bangladesh.
The Duleep Trophy tournament will start from 5 September 2024 at Anantapur in Andhra Pradesh and M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Shubman Gill has been given the captaincy of Team A while Abhimanyu Easwaran has been given the captaincy of Team B. At the same time, Ruturaj Gaikwad and Shreyas Iyer will lead Team C and Team D. Replacement players will be included in the Duleep Trophy in place of the Indian players selected for the Test series against Bangladesh.
