Australia Announce Playing 11 for 1st Test vs Bangladesh: A two-match Test series between Australia and Bangladesh is set to begin on August 13 (Thursday). The first match will be played at the Marrara Cricket Ground in Darwin. Hosts Australia have announced their playing XI for this match, featuring the return of ace fast bowler Josh Hazlewood after a long wait of 13 months.

With Josh Hazlewood's return, the lethal pace trio of Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc, and Josh Hazlewood will be seen bowling together for the Australian team after a long time. Experienced spinner Nathan Lyon has also returned to the squad to further bolster the bowling attack; Lyon had missed the latter part of the Ashes series due to a hamstring injury.
Additionally, all-rounders Cameron Green and Beau Webster have both been included in the playing XI.

While announcing the team, Australian captain Pat Cummins spoke about his fitness and the break he took:
"I missed a few Tests, but I feel like I actually got a 12-month period where I focused solely on the gym and running—things I probably wouldn't have been able to do otherwise."
