Tynecastle Park History
Tynecastle Park, also known as Tynecastle Stadium or colloquially as 'Tynecastle', is a football stadium located in the Gorgie area of Edinburgh. It is the home ground of the Scottish Professional Football League club 'Heart of Midlothian' (Hearts). This UEFA Category 4 stadium has hosted international matches for Scotland and has also served as a neutral venue for Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup semi-finals. Tynecastle has a seating capacity of 19,852, making it the sixth-largest football stadium in Scotland. Hearts have been playing at the current Tynecastle site since 1886.
