Links Park is a football stadium in Montrose, Scotland. It has been the home ground of Montrose F.C. since 1887. Links Park opened in 1887 on land leased from 'Old Kirk'. To raise funds for the new ground, Montrose F.C. rented out the pitch for circuses and for grazing livestock. Eventually, in 1920, the club managed to raise £150 to purchase a stand; this stand had previously been used at the Highland Games. A roof was constructed over the Wellington Street side of the ground in the 1960s. Floodlights were installed in 1971 and used for the first time during a match against Stranraer. The ground saw its record attendance of 8,983 spectators during a Scottish Cup quarter-final match against Dundee in March 1973.
