Delhi Capitals defeated Lucknow Super Giants by one wicket in a thrilling match. In this match, Australia's dashing all-rounder Mitchell Marsh made a big contribution in taking Lucknow to a big score. Marsh played a stormy innings of 72 runs in 36 balls. In this innings, he hit 6 fours and 6 sixes. He performed very well in bowling, but he did not come to bowl. Why is Marsh not able to bowl?
Marsh has been medically cleared to play after rehabilitation and medical evaluation. He visited a back specialist in early February 2025 and has been instructed not to bowl and not to put too much pressure on his back while fielding. Mitchell Marsh may not be available for his bowling.
Marsh struggled with both bat and ball and was eventually dropped from Australia's Test squad for the final match of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India, where he was replaced by Beau Webster. After the Test series, the all-rounder played only one Big Bash League (BBL) match on January 7. So he decided to sit out the final three matches of the season to rest emotionally and physically before the Champions Trophy. His back problem worsened, forcing him to withdraw from the event. Marsh joined the LSG team on March 18
