Swapnil Kusale won bronze in the 50m rifle 3 positions event on Thursday to give India its third medal at the Paris Olympics. He scored 451.4 points and finished behind China's Yukun Liu (gold) and Ukraine's Serhiy Kulish. By winning bronze at the Paris Olympics, Swapnil Kusale broke a streak of consistently good results: he finished fourth at the World Championships, fourth at the Asian Games. But he will be third at the Paris 2024 Olympics.
Swapnil Kusle is a Travelling Ticket Examiner (TTE) in Pune Railway Division.
