This year IPL 2025 and PSL 2025 were being played in one window. The world's biggest cricket league IPL started from 22 March and PSL started from 11 April. After remaining unsold in the IPL auction, players like David Warner, Kane Williamson, Jason Holder, Rassie van der Dussen chose PSL. Amidst India-Pakistan tension, the organization of PSL has also been stopped in Pakistan, it has been shifted to Dubai. On 22 April, there was a terrorist attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, in which a total of 26 people, including 25 tourists, were shot dead. After this attack, there was anger across the country and there was a demand for revenge from Pakistan, because the conspiracy of this attack was hatched sitting in Pakistan. After this, India destroyed 9 terrorist bases of Pakistan on 7 May under Operation Sindoor, from where a conspiracy was being hatched to spread terrorism in India. After this, Pakistani soldiers attacked India with drones, to which the Indian Army gave a befitting reply and killed them. Now in such a tense situation, BCCI does not want IPL 2025 to continue.
