Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) may not have won any trophy yet, but when it comes to rocking the Chinnaswamy Stadium and giving memorable moments to the fans, very few teams can do so. Over the years, we have seen some great batting from RCB. One such innings was seen on Saturday when all-rounder Romario Shepherd set the record for the fastest half-century by an RCB player. Shepherd scored a half-century against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the 52nd match of IPL 2025.

Romario Shepherd smashed a half-century in just 14 balls against CSK in IPL 2025, which is the fastest half-century ever for RCB. He became the first RCB batsman to achieve this feat by hitting 4 fours and 6 sixes. CSK bowlers had no answer and RCB scored 54 runs in the last two overs to score 213/5.

"Universe Boss" Chris Gayle played one of the most spectacular innings in T20 cricket history, scoring an unbeaten 175 off 66 balls, including a half-century off 17 balls. His half-century came off just 17 balls, including 13 fours and 17 sixes in the entire innings, setting several records, including the highest individual score in IPL and T20 cricket. Gayle's innings helped RCB post a mammoth total of 263/5, which was the highest team score in IPL history at the time.

Captain Faf du Plessis performed brilliantly against Gujarat Titans at Chinnaswamy in IPL 2024 and his team bundled out the visiting team for 147 runs. He scored 50 runs in 18 balls, Faf du Plessis scored 10 fours, 3 sixes and a strike rate of 280, it was Faf's brilliant batting that helped RCB achieve the target in 13.4 overs with four wickets to spare.

Rajat Patidar scored a brilliant half-century off 19 balls against Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2024. Patidar fearlessly faced SRH's strong bowling lineup including Pat Cummins and Mayank Markande. His 50 off 20 balls included five sixes and two fours, his half-century helped RCB post a competitive score of 206/7, which proved to be enough to restrict SRH to 171/8.

5. Robin Uthappa - 19 balls 2010

Robin Uthappa showcased his talent while chasing a high-pressure target against Kings XI Punjab in 2010, scoring a brilliant half-century off 19 balls. Chasing a challenging target of 204, Uthappa clearly set out to dominate. He smashed 51 runs off 21 balls to guide RCB to victory with 7 balls to spare.
