Sunrisers Hyderabad will take on the Rajasthan Royals in the 5th match of IPL 2022 on Tuesday. Sunrisers Hyderabad has to forget what has happened last year as they finished at the bottom of the standings. The most experienced player Kane Williamson will lead the side this year, whereas they retained young guns Umran Malik and Abdul Samad surprisingly. They bought most of the Indian domestic players in the auction which is quite interesting. Kane Williamson, Aiden Markram, Nicholas Pooran, and Marco Jansen are the four overseas players who could make the final XI for this match.
Rajasthan Royals, on the other hand, completely revamped their side for this year. They had concerns in their bowling department in the past and that is the reason why they have spent more money on the bowlers at the auction table. Spin duo Ravichandran Ashwin and Yuzvendra Chahal can do wonders for them in this edition. Selecting the openers is a bit of a headache for skipper Samson. Either Yashasvi Jaiswal or Devdutt Padikkal will open alongside Jos Buttler.
Kane Williamson is a batter who mainly focuses on timing and looks to pierce the gaps. He managed to score 266 runs in 10 matches in the last edition at an average of 44.33.
Devdutt Padikkal is an exciting young talent who impressed highly with his pure batting skills in the last couple of editions. He mustered 411 runs in 14 matches last year at an average of 31.61.
Washington Sundar is a good pick for your fantasy teams in the all-rounders slot. He bowls at a flatter trajectory and doesn’t give more room for the batters to free their arms.
