Prize money for SA20 winner
The winner of the SA20 League will get 34 million rands in South African currency, which is equivalent to about Rs 16 crore 20 lakh in Indian currency. The runner-up team that loses in the final will get about Rs 7 crore 75 lakh. The team that finishes third will get about Rs 4 crore 24 lakh and the team that finishes fourth will also get Rs 3 crore 74 lakh as prize money. Let us tell you that the prize money for the entire league was fixed at 70 million rands i.e. about Rs 33 crore 36 lakh.
How much has the SA20 2025 prize money increased?
Last season, SRH team got around Rs 14.21 crore for winning the SA20 league. While this time the prize money has increased by around Rs 2 crore. Last year the runner-up got Rs 7.2 crore, but this year the prize money for the runner-up has not been increased much.
