IPL 2022, RR vs DC Highlights: David Warner and Mitchell Marsh put up a 144-run partnership that negated any advantage that Rajasthan Royals may have got from getting a wicket off the second ball of the Delhi Capitals innings. Both batters had their fair share of luck. Marsh could have been LBW off the very first ball he faced if RR had gone for the DRS while Warner survived as he was bowled by Yuzvendra Chahal but the bails did not come off. Marsh scored 89 off 62 balls while Warner was unbeaten on 52 off 41. This was Warner's fifth half-century of the season.
The Capitals have lost six of their 11 games and although they are fifth on the points table, they are bunched alongside Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings, who also have 10 points from as many games. Delhi has the advantage of a positive Net Run Rate (+0.150) but the Capitals need to win all their remaining three matches for a shot at the playoffs.Rajasthan, on the other hand, are sitting on the third spot with 14 points and need just two wins to be certain of qualification. They have a healthy 0.326 NRR, which could come in handy even if they lose their remaining games. DC have been one of the most inconsistent teams in the league this season as they have struggled to keep the winning momentum going.

Very close to a perfect game. Always believe there's room for improvement. When you know the wicket is going to turn, little bit not much, there's an opportunity to both bowl first or bat first. In the toss I said anything around 140-160 would be good for us, and we got 160. Destiny is always on your hands, you can look to give 100 percent. Fielding wise we can be better. Very disappointing night. We were few runs short, and few wickets short in the middle. While we were batting the wicket was two paced. We were 15-20 runs short. While bowling second we dropped a few catches. Really disappointed, but we would like to come back in the next game. I never thought it (Marsh's lbw) could have been pad, we thought it came off the bat. We need to come back stronger after losing any game in IPL, and I hope we come back stronger.
