The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 15-member Indian squad for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2024.
Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the team in the ICC event, which was scheduled to take place in Bangladesh but was shifted to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) due to the tense political situation in the country. Smriti Mandhana will be Harmanpreet Kaur's deputy. Yastika Bhatia and Shreyanka Patil have also been included in the T20 World Cup 2024 squad, although their names are subject to fitness clearance, failing which they could be replaced ahead of the marquee event.
