The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is pleased to announce the schedule for the TATA Women’s Premier League (WPL) 2026. The tournament will be held from January 9 to February 5, 2026. This fourth edition of the tournament will take place in Navi Mumbai and Vadodara. Once again, the league will feature the finest female cricketers from India and across the globe, showcasing the rising standards and increasing competitiveness of women’s cricket.
The season will kick off in Navi Mumbai with a spectacular opening match between the defending champions, Mumbai Indians (MI), and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). The Navi Mumbai leg, running from January 9 to January 17, will host 11 matches, setting the stage for this exciting tournament.
The league will then move to Vadodara, where the remaining 11 matches—including the playoffs—will be played. Action there will begin with a clash between Gujarat Giants (GG) and RCB, followed by a rematch between the 2025 finalists, Delhi Capitals (DC) and Mumbai Indians (MI). The league stage will conclude on February 1, followed by a scheduled 'rest day.'
The 'Eliminator' match, contested between the teams finishing second and third in the points table, will take place on Tuesday, February 3. The winner will move one step closer to the title. The team finishing at the top of the points table will earn a direct entry into the final, which will be held in Vadodara on Thursday, February 5, 2026. By the end of that night, we will have a new TATA WPL champion.
