India and New Zealand will play a warm-up game at The Gabba in Brisbane ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022. India recently defeated Australia in the first warm-up match at the same venue, winning in a last-over thriller. South Africa, on the other hand, handed New Zealand a very disappointing loss, winning by nine wickets after bowling the Kiwis out for just 98 runs.
This will also be the two teams final warm-up game before the start of their Super 12 campaign in the T20 World Cup. Because neither India nor New Zealand used a fixed playing XI in their previous warm-up match, the two teams will continue to try all of the players in order to give them adequate game time.

The Gabba pitch has been favourable to the batters, while the bowlers have had little to work with. The captain who wins the toss may choose to bowl first in order to take advantage of the pitch condition during the chase.
