Today (28 July 2024) the second match of the three-match T20 International series will be played between India and Sri Lanka. The second T20 match will be played today at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Pallekele. This match will start at 7 pm according to Indian time.
The Indian team defeated the Sri Lankan team by 34 runs in their first T20 match on the Sri Lanka tour. Batting first in this match, Team India scored 213 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. Captain Suryakumar Yadav contributed the highest 58 runs.

The pitch of Pallekele is usually slow and spin friendly. But in the first match played on this ground, we saw that the pitch proved to be a boon for batting and the batsmen scored a lot of runs. The ball was coming easily on the bat of the batsmen and they were not facing any problem in playing their shots, however in the second innings it was the Indian spinners who brought India back in the match.
There will be no problem with the weather for the second T20 match between India and Sri Lanka. The sky will be cloudy during the day on Sunday, but the sky will be clear in the evening. There will be almost no chance of rain, but the humidity can cause a lot of trouble to the players. The temperature is expected to be between 24 and 25 degrees around 7 pm.
