Islamabad United's experienced all-rounder Imad Wasim created history in the final of Pakistan Super League on Monday. Let us tell you that the final match of Pakistan Super League 2024 was played between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans at the National Stadium in Karachi.

Multan Sultans won the toss and decided to bat first, but left-arm spinner Imad Wasim soon proved their decision wrong. In the second over of the innings, Wasim made Yasir Khan and David Willey his victims. After this, he completed his five wickets by dismissing Khushdil Shah, Chris Jordan and Abbas Afridi.

Imad Wasim became the first cricketer to take five wickets in an innings in the Pakistan Super League final. Islamabad United became PSL champion

Islamabad United won the title for the second time by defeating Multan Sultans by two wickets on the last ball in the Pakistan Super League 2024 final on Monday. Multan Sultans batted first and scored 159 runs losing 9 wickets in 20 overs. In reply, United achieved the target by losing 8 wickets. Imad Wasim was chosen player of the match.
