BCCI announces squad for the second round: The squads of all four teams were announced on Tuesday for the second round of Duleep Trophy 2024. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the team for the matches starting in Anantapur from September 12. There have been some changes in the teams of India A, India B and India D for the upcoming matches. At the same time, India C team will be seen playing without any change.
India A captain Shubman Gill, KL Rahul, Dhruv Jurel, Kuldeep Yadav and Akash Deep have been included in the team for the upcoming Test series against Bangladesh. Now these players will start preparing for the Test match starting from September 19.
Mayank Agarwal gets captaincy of India A
The selectors have included Pratham Singh (Railways) in place of Gill, Akshay Wadkar (Vidarbha) in place of KL Rahul and SK Rashid (Andhra Pradesh) in place of Dhruv Jurel in the team. Left-arm spinner Shams Mulani will replace Kuldeep in the team while Aaqib Khan (UPCA) will replace Akash Deep in the team. At the same time, Mayank Agarwal has been made the captain of India A.
Rinku Singh gets a place in the team
India B's Yashasvi Jaiswal and Rishabh Pant have been included in the Indian team. In their place, the selectors have made Suyash Prabhudesai and Rinku Singh a part of the team respectively. Fast bowler Yash Dayal has got a place in the national team for the first time. Sarfaraz Khan has also been included in the Indian team. However, he will play in the second round match. Himanshu Mantri (Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association) has been included in India B in place of Dayal.

Nishant Sindhu selected in place of Axar Patel
There has been a change in India's team for the second round. Actually, Axar Patel has been selected in Team India for the upcoming Test. Tushar Deshpande has been ruled out of the second round due to injury and Vidwath Kaverappa of India A will be included in his place.
