Australia selectors made a surprising decision by leaving out Darcie Brown from the T20 World Cup squad. Instead, young left-arm pacer Lucy Hamilton has earned a place in the team after impressive performances in junior and senior cricket.
Hamilton previously captained Australia’s Under-19 side and recently made her debut for the senior national team.

Australia Begin World Cup Campaign Against South Africa
Australia will start their Women’s T20 World Cup 2026 journey against South Africa on June 13 in Manchester.
