Tishaa Kumar, the cousin of T-Series head Bhushan Kumar, passed away on Thursday. Tishaa was a twentysomething woman fighting cancer. A T-Series spokesman said in a statement, 'Tishaa Kumar, daughter of Krishan Kumar, passed away yesterday after a prolonged battle with an illness.' The family of Tishaa Kumar has asked to remain anonymous. A part of the statement said, 'We kindly request that family privacy be respected as this is a difficult time for the family.' Tishaa Kumar was seen during last year's Mumbai premiere of Ranbir Kapoor's Animal.
According to a family friend, Tishaa passed away at a German hospital while receiving cancer treatment, as reported by The Indian Express. According to the source, Thissaa was just 21. After receiving a cancer diagnosis, her family decided to send her to Germany for medical care. That was where she died on Thursday. For the family, this is a depressing moment.'
Krishan Kumar, Tishaa's father, used to be an actor. He has appeared in films including Bewafa Sanam, Kasam Teri Kasam, Shabnam, and Aaja Meri Jaan. He made his final appearance in cinema in the movie Papa The Great in 2000. Hits like Ready, Lucky: No Time for Love, Airlift, Satyameva Jayate, Tanhaji, Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, and Thappad are just a few of the films that Krishan Kumar has produced. Animal, a 2023 release directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, was his final production as a producer.
Tanya Singh, the mother of Tishaa Kumar, is the sister of actress Natasha Singh and the daughter of composer Ajit Singh.
