Ola scooters will be equipped with anti theft alarm feature

If you have Ola's electric scooter or are planning to buy one, then there is a good news for you. Ola Electric has officially launched the MoveOS 4 software update for its electric scooters today (January 18). The most special feature in this software is 'Anti Theft Alarm'.

This feature works like the central locking system found in a car. After software updation, if someone tries to steal your scooter or someone tries to tamper with it, the software present in the scooter will alert you by sending a notification on your mobile. Apart from this, the scooter will also alert with a loud beep sound.

New Interface will be Available

Ola introduced MoveOS 4 on 15 October 2023. Now the company has launched its updated version. Besides, the problems arising in MoveOS 4 have also been fixed. After this update, users will get a new interface. In this, you will be able to operate many features with a single tap without touching the navigation screen. The company first rolled out MoveOS 4 to 50,000 beta users in 2023.

More than 100 features will be available

Equipped with more than 100 features, this software comes with some segment-first features. This can be updated in Ola S1 Generation 1, S1 Pro (Second Generation) and S1 Air included in the company's portfolio.

Biometric App Lock/Unlock

Along with this, Ola has given the facility to customers to lock/unlock the scooter through biometric app. The rider has to use face or finger to open the application. Apart from this, other features like hill hold and hill descent control, garage mode, better regeneration, profile control, care mood, concert mode, increased range and better proximity unlock have also been introduced.

Ola maps also updated

Ola Maps has also been updated in the new MoveOS update. Ola's hypercharger network has been integrated into the new navigation system. It also offers features like 'Find My Scooter' and 'Share Location from App'. Ola has also introduced a new Ride Journal feature that will show average speed, battery usage, range, regen, money saved and distance covered on every trip.
