ICC T20 World Cup 2024: The first batch of Indian cricketers, including captain Rohit Sharma, left for America on Saturday. Apart from Rohit, the coaching staff also left for America. The players took off from Mumbai airport. Many other players including Virat Kohli will leave with the away group.
Apart from captain Rohit Sharma, the first batch includes head coach Rahul Dravid, batting coach Vikram Rathod, fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah, batsman Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Shivam Dubey, Mohammad Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, Khalil Ahmed, Kuldeep Yadav and Akshar Patel. Wicketkeeper batsman Rishabh Pant, who returned to cricket after a long time, also left for America.
