After four years of dating, former India vice-captain Hardik Pandya revealed on Thursday that he and his wife, Natasa Stankovic, were divorcing. On May 31, 2020, Hardik, one of the most popular cricket players in India, and Natasa exchanged wedding opinions. On February 14, 2023, the couple remarried in front of close friends and family. The ex-partners issued a joint statement to announce their split after months of reports that they were experiencing problems in their relationship.

'After 4 years of being together, Natasa and I have decided to mutually part ways. We tried our best together and gave it our all, and we believe this is in the best interest of both of us. This was a tough decision for us to make, given the joy, mutual respect and companionship we enjoyed together and as we grew a family,' Hardik mentioned in the statement. 'We are blessed with Agastya, who will continue to be at the centre of both of our lives and we will co-parent to ensure that we give him everything that we can for his happiness,' he wrote.

First Meeting

In 2018, Hardik and Natasa initially connected at a Mumbai nightclub. The duo made their first public appearance together at Hardik's birthday celebration before they started dating rumours. Originally, their connection began with a straightforward birthday message on social media. Hardik was one of India's most promising young players in all formats.

Engagement

On Instagram a year later, in 2019, Natasa openly referred to Hardik as her "best friend." When the pair announced their engagement on New Year's Day 2020, they took the internet by storm. For those who don't know, actor Natasa accepted the superstar cricketer Hardik's boat proposal for New Year's 2020. The fans had conflicting responses to the huge announcement.

Pregnancy Announcement

The pair allegedly tied the knot on May 31, 2020, amid the Covid shutdown. Hardik and Natasa announced their impending baby in May, beginning a new chapter in their lives. Well wishes for the famous cricket players flooded in, from Virat Kohli to Ravi Shastri. On July 30, 2020, the couple welcomed a newborn boy named Agastya into the world.

Renewing Wedding Vows

In a lavish ceremony held in Udaipur in 2023, Hardik and Natasa renewed their devotion to one another. The pair wedded at the opulent Raffles Hotel three years after falling in love. At that time, Natasa and Hardik's idyllic vow renewal ceremony was the talk of the town.

Natasa allegedly removed every picture of Hardik from her social media accounts, according to a Reddit post earlier today. The pair is allegedly not sharing anything about one another on social media, according to the account. Natasa dodged a question about her divorce from the media. On social media, the pair still posts pictures of themselves with Agastya.

Separation in July 2024

In addition to declining to support Hardik during IPL 2024 matches, Natasa removed the word "Pandya" from her Instagram account in May. Even after the T20 World Cup, Natasa didn't post anything about Hardik, which continued to fuel rumours that the pair was divorcing. Amidst rumours of a breakup, Natasa left Mumbai with her son Agastya for Serbia. The pair formally split up on Thursday. "We sincerely request your support and understanding to give us privacy during this difficult and sensitive time," the message said.
