Kinetic Green is going to launch its popular moped e-Luna today. The company started its booking on January 26, 2024. The company will also sell this electric moped through online e-commerce platforms Amazon and Flipkart. So far it has received good response from customers. According to the information given on the e-commerce platform, currently you will be able to buy it only in single color of Ocean Blue. The company has given a 2 kWh lithium ion battery pack in it. The motor type is also 2 Watt. Its range will be up to 110 km on a single charge. At the same time, its top speed will be up to 50 km/h. The company will also provide a portable charger with it. This electric moped can be fully charged in 4 hours. The company has used tube tires in it.
Nothing can be said about whether it will have a fixed or swappable battery. Its torque will be 22 Nm. Details like speed, odometer, trip meter, battery SOC, DTE, direction indicator, high beam indicator, ready symbol will be available in its console. It will have filament for tail and turn. For safety, it has combi drum brakes at both ends. It has telescopic suspension in the front and dual shock suspension in the back.
The e-Luna has a length of 1.985 m, width of 0.735 m, height of 1.036 m and wheelbase of 1335 mm. Its seat height is 760 mm and curb weight is 96 kg. The total weight of this electric moped is 96 kg. At the same time, its ground clearance is 170 mm. Its price will be Rs 71,990. At the same time, customers will also be able to buy it with monthly EMI of Rs 2,500. Initially the company will aim to reach 50 thousand customers.
5000 units will be produced every month
The Electric Luna or e-Luna will be a product of Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions, an associate brand of Kinetic Group. Kinetic Green Energy and Power Solutions will produce the e-Luna in Ahmednagar, Maharashtra. The company also began production of chassis and other subassemblies. Initially, it is likely to produce 5,000 units every month. Production will also be increased along with its demand. A separate assembly line has been prepared for the e-Luna. 30 new welding machines have been installed in this assembly line which have been installed for E Luna. For this, special paint booth and fabrication has also been setup.
