
Botev Plovdiv is a professional football club based in the Bulgarian city of Plovdiv that competes in the 'Parva Liga', the top tier of Bulgarian football. Established on March 11, 1912, it is the oldest active football club in Bulgaria and is considered one of the country's historically significant clubs.
Named after the Bulgarian poet and revolutionary Hristo Botev, the club plays its home matches at the Hristo Botev Stadium in Plovdiv.
Botev has won two Bulgarian league titles, four Bulgarian Cups, one Bulgarian Supercup, and one Balkans Cup. The club's best performance in European competitions was reaching the quarter-finals of the 'Cup Winners' Cup'.
