The tournament will run from February to December 2026 and will utilize a multi-stage promotion and relegation system.

League format

Two Short Tournaments: The season is divided into two distinct parts: the Torneo Apertura (opening tournament) and the Torneo Clausura (closing tournament). In each tournament, all 22 teams play against one another once.
