Lahore Qalandars squad for PSL 7 includes the core of their team from the previous edition. Qalandars that have been retained or re-picked include superstars such as Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, Rashid Khan, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez and David Wiese. The squad also has some fresh faces such as Phil Salt, Harry Brook, and Abdullah Shafique while players such as Samit Patel, Sohail Akhtar and Zeeshan Ashraf provide some much-needed experience. Lahore Qalandars player list also includes young talents such as Zaman Khan and Syed Faridoun which will be a welcome change.

Lahore Qalandars is a Pakistani professional cricket franchise which plays in the Pakistan Super League. The home ground of the team is Gaddafi Stadium. It nominally represents the city of Lahore in the league.The team is owned by Qatar Lubricants Company Limited (QALCO). The team is currently captained by Sohail Akhtar. The team is coached by Aaqib Javed, a former Pakistani cricketer. Lahore Qalandars is owned by Rana brothers. Lahore Qalandars was the second-most expensive franchise, and one of the few teams sold to an international company. The team finished at the bottom spot in the points table in each of the first four seasons of the PSL, before making their first appearance in the final in the 2020 edition.
Fakhar Zaman is the leading run-scorer and Shaheen Shah Afridi is the leading wicket-taker for the side. Afridi is also the Qalandars' brand ambassador.
Lahore Qalandars will face Multan Sultans in their first match in the competition. The match will be played on 29 January at 2pm at National Stadium Karachi. Lahore’s last match of the group stage will be against Peshawar Zalmi on 21 February at their home ground, Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore. Their matches against arch-rivals Karachi Kings will be played on 30 January in Karachi and 18 Febraury in Lahore.
