Already in the spotlight for his aggressive batting and stellar performance during the recent T20I tour of Zimbabwe, this left-arm spinner also worked wonders with the ball. East Zone vice-captain Vaibhav dealt a crushing blow to North East Zone by claiming two crucial wickets in a single over:
- First Wicket: Vaibhav dismissed the set batter Kishan Lyngdoh, who was caught at mid-wicket.
- Second Wicket: In the same over, he dismissed Imliwati Lemtur, with captain Ishan Kishan taking a brilliant catch behind the stumps.
