UAE vs AFG: UAE batsman made world record of sixes: In the second T20 International match being played between Afghanistan and UAE, Muhammad Wasim has achieved a feat which no batsman has been able to do in world cricket till date. The UAE captain batted brilliantly and played a brilliant innings of 53 runs in 32 balls, on the basis of which UAE, batting first, scored 166 runs on the score board after losing 7 wickets in 20 overs.

Muhammad Wasim made world record

In the second T20 match being played against Afghanistan, Muhammad Wasim hit 4 fours and three sixes during his innings of 53 runs. Along with these three sixes, Wasim also completed a century of sixes in the year 2023. In international cricket, Wasim has become the first batsman in the world to hit 100 sixes in a year. No batsman has been able to achieve this feat till date before Wasim. Wasim has hit 101 sixes this year.

Rohit Sharma far behind

Rohit Sharma's name is at second place in terms of hitting most sixes in a year in international cricket. Hitman has hit a total of 80 sixes so far in the year 2023. At the same time, in the year 2019 also, 78 sixes were hit from Rohit's bat. Suryakumar Yadav had hit 74 sixes in the year 2022.

UAE made a respectable score

Batting first in the second T20 match against Afghanistan, UAE scored 166 runs on the score board after losing 7 wickets. Captain Wasim and Aryan Lakra gave a strong start to the team and added 72 runs in 8.3 overs for the first wicket. Wasim scored 53 runs in 32 balls, while Aryan scored 63 runs in 47 balls with the help of 3 fours and four sixes. However, after both of them returned to the pavilion, the rest of the UAE batsmen surrendered easily to the Afghan bowlers.
