Japan's innings was bundled out for just 57 runs in this match. After winning the toss and opting to field, Team India's experienced spin attack made it extremely difficult for the Japanese batters to hold their ground. In response, India easily chased down the target.

Left-arm spinner Sri Charani, currently in magnificent form, recorded the best figures of her T20 career by claiming 4 wickets for just 10 runs. The dominance of the Indian bowlers is evident from the fact that the Japanese team could manage only three boundaries throughout their entire innings.
