At the 2026 Asian Games, cricket matches will be held at the Korogi Athletic Park in Aichi, Japan, from September 17 to October 3. The men's cricket tournament at the Asian Games will begin on September 24, with the bronze and gold medal matches scheduled for October 3.
Having won the gold medal at Hangzhou 2023, defending champions India will participate in this tournament. Ten teams will compete in the men's event. Afghanistan, Japan, and Nepal have been placed in Group A, while Hong Kong China, Malaysia, and Oman are in Group B. The top two teams from each preliminary group will advance to the quarter-finals, where they will join the four seeded teams—India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
India will begin its quarter-final campaign on September 28 against the runner-up from Group A. On the same day, Pakistan will face the runner-up from Group B. Sri Lanka will play against the winner of Group A on September 29, while Bangladesh will face the winner of Group B in the final quarter-final match. The men's semi-final matches will be played on October 1.
