Sri Lanka announces 16-man squad for India vs Sri Lanka ODI series

IND vs SL ODI Series: Sri Lanka Cricket Board has announced its 16-member team for the three-match ODI series against India. A three-match ODI series is to be played between India and Sri Lanka from August 2. Virat Kohli and captain Rohit Sharma are going to make a comeback from this series. After retiring from T20 International, Rohit and Kohli will now play only in ODIs and Tests. Sri Lanka has appointed Charith Asalanka as its captain for the ODI series against India.

All-rounder Dasun Shanaka will not be a part of this series due to injury while young batsman Nishan Madushka has been included in the team. After the T20 series is over, a three-match series will be played between India and Sri Lanka in Colombo. These matches will be played at the R Premadasa Stadium on 2, 4 and 7 August.
