The schedule of matches for the first inaugural SA20 league to be played in South Africa in 2023 has been released. A total of 33 matches are to be played in the first season.

The South Africa T20 League will start from January 10 and the final will be played on February 11. There will be a one-week break due to the bilateral ODI series between South Africa and England (January 24 to February 2). Teams of 6 franchises will face each other in this mini IPL.

6 teams will participate

The opening match of the tournament will be played between MI Cape Town and Paarl Royals. The tournament has attracted many top players from around the world, including Jos Buttler, who plays for Paarl Royals, and Rashid Khan, who represents MI Cape Town.

6 teams MI Cape Town, Paarl Royals, Pretoria Capitals, Sunrisers Eastern Cape, Joburg Super Kings and Durban Super Giants will play a total of 33 matches in the tournament. All matches will be played according to the local time of South Africa.
