According to the report of The Indian Express, Kohli will not be a part of the Indian team for the ODI and T-20 series at present. Will visit India and South Africa in the month of December. Here India will play ODI, T-20 and Test match series.

It has also been said in this report that Indian team captain Rohit Sharma also wants a break from ODI and T-20 series. In his place, wicketkeeper batsman KL Rahul can take command of the team. At the same time, the selectors can also consider making Jasprit Bumrah the captain. Earlier, KL Rahul had taken command of the team on the South Africa tour in the year 2022, when Virat Kohli left the captaincy and Rohit Sharma was injured.
