In the last T20 match played between India and Zimbabwe, Team India won by 42 runs. After the victory in this match, coach VVS Laxman gave the award of the best fielder of the series to Rinku Singh in the dressing room. In the viral video of BCCI, it is seen that fielding coach T. Dalip gave a special message to the players through a video call in the dressing room.

After this, he asked coach VVS Laxman to give the award to Rinku. When Rinku Singh received the Fielder of the Series award, fellow player Ravi Bishnoi was seen making fun of him. Ravi Bishnoi placed a podium in front of Rinku and asked him to stand on it and give a speech.

During this, 26-year-old Rinku Singh stood on the podium and said that first of all it was God's plan. I really enjoyed playing with everyone. It was my fourth or fifth series. To be honest, I like fielding more than batting. I enjoy fielding a lot. I enjoy running a lot. If I don't sprint, my body doesn't open up.

Rinku Singh's performance in the Zimbabwe series

Rinku Singh played four matches in the T20I series against Zimbabwe and scored 60 runs with the bat. He became a victim of a duck in the first T20I match. Then in the second T20I match, he played an unbeaten innings of 48 runs while batting at number 4.

On the basis of Rinku Singh's innings, the Indian team won that match by 100 runs. At the same time, Rinku did not get a chance to bat in the fourth T20I. In the fifth T20I match, Rinku Singh played an unbeaten innings of 11 runs.
