Imad Wasim, an all-rounder for Pakistan, was observed smoking in the dressing room following his outstanding performance in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final versus Multan Sultans at Karachi's National Bank Stadium.
Wasim was crucial to Islamabad United's winning third PSL championship.
The 35-year-old put on an incredible show, taking five wickets to hold Multan Sultans to 159/9.
He also helped lead the victorious run chase with an undefeated 19 runs.
However, Wasim's behaviour off the field drew criticism despite his valiant efforts on the field. During the game, he was seen smoking in the team's changing room.
Wasim smoking a cigarette during the 18th over of the innings was recorded in a widely shared social media video.
Because of his all-around performance, Wasim was also named Player of the Match as Islamabad United won their first PSL final since 2018.
