PCB has appointed former cricketer Mohammad Hafeez as the head coach of Pakistan for the inaugural tour of Australia and New Zealand. Hafeez was recently part of the PCB cricket technical committee. Hafiz played an important role in winning the ICC Champions Trophy in 2017.

There was poor performance in the World Cup
