The first match of Legend League Cricket was played between Bhilwara Kings and India Capitals at Ranchi Cricket Stadium. Bhilwara Kings won the toss and decided to bowl first. India Capitals captain Gautam Gambhir played an inning of 63 runs in 35 balls. Kirk Edwards scored 59 runs in 31 balls.

Having lost five wickets at 135, the captain of Bhilwara took charge and played an unbeaten inning of 65 runs in 19 balls and led the team to victory.
