Indian women team announced for ODI and T20 series against Australia

The Indian women's team was announced on Monday, December 25 for the ODI and T20 series against Australia. Shreyanka Patil, who made her debut in the T20 series against England, has got a place in the ODI team. Shreyanka took 5 wickets in three matches against England and won the Player of the Match award in the third and final T20I match of the series.

Apart from Shreyanka, left arm spinner Saika Ishaq has also been included in the ODI team. Ishaq also made his debut in international cricket in T20I against England. Both Shreyanka and Ishaq had performed well in the T20 series against England. Shreyanka plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore and Saika Ishaq plays for Mumbai Indians in the Women's Premier League (WPL). Both left their mark in the inaugural season in 2023.

Fast bowler Titas Sadhu made place in the team

Young fast bowler Titas Sadhu has been included in the T20 and ODI team. Under the captaincy of Harmanpreet Kaur, the Indian team became the first Indian captain to defeat Australia since 1977. India defeated Australia by 8 wickets at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Let us tell you that three ODI matches will be held at Wankhede on 28th, 30th December and 2nd January. The Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy in Mumbai will host three T20 matches on January 5, 7 and 9.
