Afghanistan captain Hasmatullah Shahidi had told in a press conference on the day before the match that Ibrahim Zadran had injured his ankle in the practice session. Now the Afghanistan Cricket Board has informed that top order batsman Ibrahim Zadran has been ruled out of the only Test against New Zealand and the three-match ODI series against South Africa due to a sprained left ankle.
