MP Pappu Yadav's son Son Sarthak Ranjan Hits 95 Off 50 Balls: Sarthak Ranjan, son of veteran leader and Bihar MP Pappu Yadav, is currently showcasing his batting prowess in the Delhi Premier League 2026. While Pappu Yadav remains active in politics, his son Sarthak has grabbed everyone's attention on the field by playing a blistering innings featuring eight towering sixes. Despite having been part of an IPL squad without getting a chance to make his debut, Sarthak is now proving his explosive form in the DPL.

Playing for the North Delhi Strikers in the Delhi Premier League, Sarthak Ranjan played a magnificent captain's knock in the match against the East Delhi Riders. In the game held on Wednesday at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, the East Delhi Riders batted first and posted a strong total of 171 for 6, aided by Sujal Singh's 82 off 50 balls.

Chasing a target of 172, the North Delhi Strikers got off to a poor start, losing two wickets for 39 runs. Subsequently, opening batsman and captain Sarthak Ranjan wreaked havoc on the field, playing a fiery innings of 95 runs off just 50 balls. He smashed eight sixes and seven fours, maintaining a strike rate of 190. Although he was dismissed just five runs short of a century, he had already ensured his team's victory by that point.

North Delhi Strikers Beat East Delhi Riders by 6 Wickets

Thanks to Sarthak Ranjan's 95 runs and Yash Bhatia's unbeaten 53, the North Delhi Strikers easily chased down the target of 172 runs in just 16 overs, losing four wickets in the process. The team won the match by six wickets. Sarthak delivered this match-winning performance in his very first DPL match of the season.

Prior to this, he was seen playing for Delhi in the Vijay Hazare Trophy in January of this year.
