ENG vs PAK Test Series 2026: The Pakistan cricket team's tour of the West Indies has officially concluded. The two-match Test series ended in a 1-1 draw. While the West Indies won the opening match, the Pakistan team staged a magnificent comeback to win the second match and level the series.

With the West Indies tour over, the Pakistan team is now preparing to travel to England (Pakistan tour of England 2026). There is little time left before this series starts. Once again, the reins of the Pakistan team are in Babar Azam's hands. Since becoming Test captain, Babar has led the team in two matches, resulting in one win and one loss. Meanwhile, the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) has announced its 16-member squad for the three-match Test series against Pakistan. Following Ben Stokes's sudden retirement after the New Zealand series, the ECB has once again handed the Test team's captaincy to Joe Root.

Some significant changes have also been observed in the squad:

  • Dan Lawrence Returns: Middle-order batsman Dan Lawrence has returned to the Test squad after a long hiatus of nearly two years.
  • Jacob Bethell Injured: Jacob Bethell has missed out on this series due to a right knee injury sustained during the series against India.
  • Jordan Cox Included: Jordan Cox has been included in the 16-member squad as a replacement for the injured Jacob Bethell.

This three-match Test series between England and Pakistan will be part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC).
