Now the captains of all 10 teams have been confirmed. Delhi Capitals on Friday appointed spin all-rounder Akshar Patel as the captain of the team.
Delhi Capitals, Lucknow Super Giants, Punjab Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders will enter IPL 2025 with new captains. Delhi has appointed Axar Patel, Lucknow Rishabh Pant, Punjab Kings Shreyas Iyer, RCB Rajat Patidar and KKR Ajinkya Rahane as the captain of the team.
IPL 2025 will start from March 22. This time all the matches will be played in 13 cities. The first match of IPL 2025 will be played between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers Bangalore. The first match of IPL will be played on March 22 from 7:30 pm. The toss of the match will be at 7 pm. This time RCB has handed over the captaincy to Rajat Patidar, while the command of KKR is in the hands of senior player Ajinkya Rahane.
The opening ceremony of IPL 2025 will be held at Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. Famous Bollywood stars will perform in the opening ceremony of IPL. But which artists will perform in the ceremony is yet to be confirmed. The program of the opening ceremony of IPL 2025 will start on March 22 at 6 pm.
