ICC Rankings: Indian spinner Sri Charani makes history, becomes the first Indian to cross the 800-rating-point mark; Deepti Sharma at No. 2
Following Team India's title victory at the Women's Asia Cup held in Dubai, Indian players have made a significant impact on the latest ICC Women's T20I rankings. Star spinner Sri Charani—key to the Indian team that secured a record-extending eighth Asia Cup title by defeating Sri Lanka by 72 runs—has made history by achieving a career-best rating.
Sri Charani breaks the 800-rating-point barrier
Left-arm spinner Sri Charani claimed 4 wickets in the Asia Cup final and took a total of 12 wickets throughout the tournament. Thanks to this stellar performance, she firmly holds the top spot in the T20I bowling rankings. She has become the first Indian bowler in T20I history to cross the 800-rating-point mark. Charani has now joined the elite club of players—including Australia's Megan Schutt (806) and England's Sophie Ecclestone (802)—who have achieved a rating of over 800.

- Shafali Verma: Opener Shafali Verma, who scored 236 runs at an average of 47.20 in the Asia Cup, has moved up one spot to sixth place in the batting rankings. Additionally, she has climbed five places to reach the 15th spot in the all-rounders' list.
Australia's Beth Mooney and Georgia Wareham retain the top spots in the batting rankings, while Bangladesh's Marufa Akter and Rabeya Khan have made significant gains in the bowling rankings.
