Australia has announced its squad for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 starting next month. The Kangaroos have announced their 15-man squad for the tournament starting in Pakistan and Dubai from February 19. Pat Cummins, who is currently on paternity leave, is back in the team and will lead the team in the upcoming tournament.

Cricket Australia (CA) has also selected Josh Hazlewood in its squad, who is currently recovering from injury. Cummins and Hazlewood are not part of the Australian team for the two-Test series against Sri Lanka. Cummins will also undergo an ankle scan. He recently suffered ankle trouble during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy against India.

The Australian team would like to win the ICC Champions Trophy title for a record third time. The team won this trophy in 2006 and 2009 under the captaincy of Ricky Ponting.
