India added another medal to its tally at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026 on Wednesday as the Indian women's skeet team won the bronze medal in the team event.
The trio of Raiza Dhillon, Parinaaz Dhaliwal and Maheshwari Chauhan finished third with a combined score of 331 points, giving India another podium finish in shooting.
With this bronze medal, India's shooting medal tally has reached six at the Asian Games 2026.
Asian Games 2026: India Wins Bronze in Women’s Skeet Team Event
The Indian women's skeet team produced a strong performance to secure third place in the competition.
Raiza Dhillon and Parinaaz Dhaliwal scored 111 points each, while Maheshwari Chauhan added 109 points. Their combined total of 331 points earned India the bronze medal.
The three shooters maintained a consistent performance and successfully placed India among the top three teams in the event.

Raiza Dhillon and Parinaaz Dhaliwal emerged as India's highest scorers in the women's skeet team event.
Both shooters registered 111 out of 125, while Maheshwari Chauhan finished with 109 points.
Their combined effort proved enough for India to finish third and secure another shooting medal at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
India Finishes Third as China Clinches Women’s Skeet Gold
China dominated the women's skeet team event and claimed the gold medal with a score of 346 points.
Kazakhstan finished second to take the silver medal, while India secured bronze with its total of 331 points.

India’s Shooting Medal Tally Reaches Six at Asian Games 2026
The women's skeet bronze has taken India's shooting medal tally to six medals at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026.
Shooting has remained one of India's important medal-winning sports at the Games, with Indian athletes competing across multiple events.
The latest podium finish further adds to India's medal haul on Wednesday.
Manu Bhaker Reaches Women’s 10m Air Pistol Final

India also received a major boost in shooting as Manu Bhaker advanced to the women's 10m air pistol individual final.
The two-time Olympic medallist produced a strong qualification performance to book her place in the medal round.
However, fellow Indian shooters Suruchi Inder Singh and Esha Singh could not qualify for the final.
Bhaker will now compete in the final with a chance to add another medal to India's shooting campaign.
India Makes Strong Progress in Rowing and Canoe Sprint
India's athletes also made progress in several other disciplines at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games.
In rowing, Balraj Panwar qualified for the men's single sculls Final A after finishing third in his heat with a time of 6:52.84 seconds.
The men's double sculls pair of Satnam Singh and Salman Khan also reached the final after finishing second in their heat with a time of 6:15.63 seconds.
In canoe sprint, Harshwardhan Shaktawat, Varinder Singh, L Naocha Singh Oinam and Arun Singh qualified for the men's kayak four 500m final after finishing third in Heat 1.
India’s Medal Hunt Continues at Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games
The bronze medal won by Raiza Dhillon, Parinaaz Dhaliwal and Maheshwari Chauhan adds another important result to India's Asian Games 2026 campaign.
Indian athletes continue to compete across shooting, rowing, canoe sprint, table tennis and swimming as the competition progresses.
With more events still to come, India will look to add further medals to its tally at the Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games 2026.
